RE: Not performing move according to plan laid out by Salesperson

All too often a moving crew, and occasionally a delivery crew, will perform a job outside of the plan laid out by the salesperson. Examples are using one truck instead of two, utilizing all men to load a residence when we specifically ask to have a crew at both origin and destination, not wrapping furniture in the residence, not utilizing specific/provided packing materials to move certain items (TV’s, pictures, mattresses) etc.

Effective immediately if you want to change the plan laid out by the Salesperson, you must call that salesperson and get permission before doing so. If you do not get their permission to change how the job is performed, we reserve the right to do one of the following:

    • Deduct some of the hours you worked on that job to make up for the lack of efficiency we perceive occurred due to your decision to work outside of the plan that was laid out.
    • Pay you MINIMUM WAGE for all of your hours that day.
    • Have you finish up any necessary duties on YOUR TIME since you did not follow instructions.
    • Charge you for any damages incurred due to failure to utilize provided packing materials.

THANK YOU.
